RESOURCE® THICKEN UP®
Poultry Entrees
Baked Chicken or Turkey
Makes 2 servings.
Ingredients:
6 oz. Chicken meat, cooked
1/3 cup Chicken broth, hot
1 Tbsp. THICKENUP®
Preparation:
1. Place chicken and broth into blender or food processor. Puree until smooth.
2. Add THICKENUP® and blend briefly until mixed. Scrape down sides of container to make sure all thickener is blended in.
3. Pour into a small pan or microwave safe dish. Reheat to serving temperature.
4. Use 1/2 cup per serving. Garnish as desired.*
5. Refrigerate any leftovers immediately. Hold for up to 24 hours in refrigerator. Discard after 24 hours.
* Suggested garnishes: Gravy, cream sauce, fruit sauce, BBQ sauce, tomato sauce, teriyaki sauce, or sweet and sour sauce.
Note:
1. If using a blender to puree, additional liquid and THICKENUP® may need to be added to achieve desired consistency.

Basic Poultry
Makes 2 servings.
Ingredients:
6 oz. Chicken, Turkey, or other lean poultry, cooked
1/3 cup broth, hot
1 Tbsp. THICKENUP®
Preparation:
1. Place meat and broth into blender or food processor. Puree until smooth.
2. Add THICKENUP® and blend briefly until mixed. Scrape down sides of container to make sure all thickener is blended in.
3. Pour into a small pan or microwave safe dish. Reheat to serving temperature.

5. Refrigerate any leftovers immediately. Hold for up to 24 hours in refrigerator. Discard after 24 hours.
Serving Suggestions:
For a quick Chicken Marinara—Try topping each serving with 1/4 cup spaghetti sauce and 1 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese.

Chicken Cacciatore
Makes 2 servings.
Ingredients:
6 oz. Chicken, cooked, skinned and boned
1/3 cup Chicken broth, hot
3 Tbsp. THICKENUP®
1/4 cup Prepared cacciatore sauce, hot
Preparation:
1. Place chicken and broth into blender or food processor. Puree until smooth.
2. Add THICKENUP® and blend briefly until mixed. Scrape down sides of container to make sure all thickener is blended in.
3. Pour into a small pan or microwave safe dish. Reheat to serving temperature.
4. For each serving, use approximately 1/2 cup pureed chicken and top with 2 Tbsp. cacciatore sauce.
5. Refrigerate any leftovers immediately. Hold for up to 24 hours in refrigerator. Discard after 24 hours.

Chicken Cordon Bleu
Makes 1 serving.
Ingredients:
6 oz. serving Chicken Cordon Bleu, cooked
1/4 cup Chicken broth, hot
2 tsp. THICKENUP®
Preparation:
1. Place chicken cordon bleu and broth into a blender or food processor. Puree until smooth.
2. Add THICKENUP® and blend briefly until mixed. Scrape down sides of container to make sure all thickener is blended in.
3. Pour into a small pan or microwave safe dish. Reheat to serving temperature.

Ingredients:
1 cup Chicken and Dumplings, cooked
2 tsp. THICKENUP®

Chicken and Vegetable Stir Fry
Makes 1 serving.
Ingredients:
1 cup Chicken and Vegetable Stir Fry, prepared
3 Tbsp. Chicken broth or water, hot
2 tsp. THICKENUP®
Pureed Rice
Preparation:
1. Place stir fry and broth into blender or food processor. Puree until smooth.
2. Add THICKENUP® and blend briefly until mixed. Scrape down sides of container to make sure all thickener is blended in.
3. Pour into a small pan or microwave safe dish. Reheat to serving temperature.
4. Serve pureed stir fry with 1/2 cup of pureed rice. Garnish with soy sauce.
5. Refrigerate any leftovers immediately. Hold for up to 24 hours in refrigerator. Discard after 24 hours.

Chicken Tetrazzini
