Beef
Beef and Vegetable Stir Fry
Makes 1 serving.
Ingredients:
1 cup Beef and Vegetable Stir Fry, prepared
1 Tbsp. Beef broth or water, hot
2 tsp. THICKENUP®

Preparation:
1. Place stir fry and broth into blender or food processor. Puree until smooth.
2. Add THICKENUP® and blend briefly until mixed. Scrape down sides of container to make sure all thickener is blended in.
3. Pour into a small pan or microwave safe dish. Reheat to serving temperature.
4. Serve pureed stir fry with 1/2 cup of pureed rice, if desired. Garnish with soy sauce.
5. Refrigerate any leftovers immediately. Hold for up to 24 hours in refrigerator. Discard after 24 hours.
Note:
If using a blender to puree, additional liquid and THICKENUP® may need to be added to achieve desired consistency.

Beef Franks
Makes 2 servings.
Ingredients:
1/4 lb. (4 oz.) Franks, cooked
1/4 cup Water, hot
2 tsp. THICKENUP®
Preparation:
1. Place beef franks and broth into blender or food processor. Puree until smooth.
2. Add THICKENUP® and blend briefly until mixed. Scrape down sides of container to make sure all thickener is blended in.
3. Pour into a small pan or microwave safe dish. Reheat to serving temperature.
4. Use approximately 1/4 cup per serving.
5. Refrigerate any leftovers immediately. Hold for up to 24 hours in refrigerator. Discard after 24 hours.

Beef Goulash
Makes 1 serving.
Ingredients:
1 cup Beef Goulash, cooked
2 Tbsp. Beef broth, hot
1 tsp. THICKENUP®
2 Tbsp. Seasoned tomato sauce, hot
Preparation:
1. Place beef goulash into blender or food processor. Puree until smooth.
2. Add THICKENUP® and blend briefly until mixed. Scrape down sides of container to make sure all thickener is blended in.
3. Pour into a small pan or microwave safe dish. Reheat to serving temperature.
4. Top with seasoned tomato sauce and serve.
5. Refrigerate any leftovers immediately. Hold for up to 24 hours in refrigerator. Discard after 24 hours.

Baked Lasagna
Makes 1 serving.
Ingredients:
8 oz. serving Lasagna, cooked
2 Tbsp. Beef broth or water, hot
2 tsp. THICKENUP®
Preparation:
1. Place lasagna and broth into blender or food processor. Puree until smooth.
2. Add THICKENUP® and blend briefly until mixed. Scrape down sides of container to make sure all thickener is blended in.

Beef Stuffed Cabbage Rolls
Makes 1 serving.
Ingredients:
1 Cabbage Rolls, cooked
2 tsp. THICKENUP®
3 Tbsp. Herbed tomato sauce, hot
Preparation:
1. Place cabbage rolls into blender or food processor. Puree until smooth.
2. Add THICKENUP® and blend briefly until mixed. Scrape down sides of container to make sure all thickener is blended in.
3. Pour into a small pan or microwave safe dish. Reheat to serving temperature.
4. Top with herbed tomato sauce and serve.
5. Refrigerate any leftovers immediately. Hold for up to 24 hours in refrigerator. Discard after 24 hours.

Beef Tamales
Makes 1 serving.
Ingredients:
2 tamales, Canned or Fresh Beef Tamales, cooked
1 Tbsp. Chili sauce
3 Tbsp. Water
2 tsp. THICKENUP®
Preparation:
1. Place tamales and broth into blender or food processor. Puree until smooth.
2. Add THICKENUP® and blend briefly until mixed. Scrape down sides of container to make sure all thickener is blended in.
3. Pour into a small pan or microwave safe dish. Reheat to serving temperature.
4. Garnish with additional chili sauce, if desired.
5. Refrigerate any leftovers immediately. Hold for up to 24 hours in refrigerator. Discard after 24 hours.

Chunky Beef Stew
Makes 1 serving.
Ingredients:
1 cup Chunky Beef Stew, prepared
2 tsp. THICKENUP®
Preparation:

Country Fried Steak
Makes 1 serving.
Ingredients:
1 (approx. 4 oz.) Country Fried Steak, cooked
3 Tbsp. Beef broth or water, hot

2 Tbsp. Cream gravy, hot
Preparation:
1. Place country fried steaks and broth into blender or food processor. Puree until smooth.
2. Add THICKENUP® and blend briefly until mixed. Scrape down sides of container to make sure all thickener is blended in.
3. Pour into a small pan or microwave safe dish. Reheat to serving temperature.
4. Top with cream gravy and serve.
5. Refrigerate any leftovers immediately. Hold for up to 24 hours in refrigerator. Discard after 24 hours.

Meatloaf
Makes 1 serving.
Ingredients:
4 oz. serving Meatloaf, cooked
3 Tbsp. Beef broth or water, hot
2 tsp. THICKENUP®
2 Tbsp. Tomato sauce for garnish, optional
Preparation:
1. Place meatloaf and broth into blender or food processor. Puree until smooth.
2. Add THICKENUP® and blend briefly until mixed. Scrape down sides of container to make sure all thickener is blended in.
3. Pour into a small pan or microwave safe dish. Reheat to serving temperature.
4. Garnish with 2 Tbsp. tomato sauce, if desired.
5. Refrigerate any leftovers immediately. Hold for up to 24 hours in refrigerator. Discard after 24 hours.

Quick and Easy Shepard's Pie
Makes 4 servings.
Ingredients:
1 - 17 oz. pkg. Beef Tips with Gravy
2 Tbsp. THICKENUP®
2 cups Mixed vegetables, cooked and drained
1 Tbsp. Margarine, melted
1 Tbsp. THICKENUP®
1/2 cupProcessed Cheese Spread (such as Cheez Whiz®)
2 cups Prepared Mashed Potatoes
Paprika (to garnish)
Preparation:
1. Heat oven to 350°F. Spray an 8 inch square pan with vegetable cooking spray.
2. Place beef tip with gravy into blender or food processor. Puree until smooth.
3. Add THICKENUP® and blend briefly until mixed. Scrape down sides of container to make sure all thickener is blended in.
4. Pour into pan and spread evenly.
5. Clean blender or food processor before moving onto next step.
6. Place cooked vegetables and margarine in food processor or blender. Puree until smooth.
7. Add second amount of THICKENUP® and blend briefly until mixed. Scrape down sides of container to make sure all thickener is blended in.
8. Spread evenly over beef layer in pan.
9. Heat cheese spread and pour evenly over vegetable layer.
10. Spread prepared mashed potatoes over cheese layer. Sprinkle with paprika, if desired.
11. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 20-30 minutes or until hot.
12. Cool for five minutes before serving.
13. Cut into four pieces. Serve one square per serving.
14. Refrigerate leftovers immediately. Hold for up to 24 hours in refrigerator. Discard after 24 hours.

Roast Beef
Makes 2 servings.
Ingredients:
6 oz. Roast Beef, cooked
1/3 cup Beef broth, hot
1 1/2 tsp. THICKENUP®
Preparation:
1. Place roast beef and broth into blender or food processor. Puree until smooth.
2. Add THICKENUP® and blend briefly until mixed. Scrape down sides of container to make sure all thickener is blended in.
3. Pour into a small pan or microwave safe dish. Reheat to serving temperature.
4. Use 1/2 cup per serving.
5. Refrigerate any leftovers immediately. Hold for up to 24 hours in refrigerator. Discard after 24 hours.

Salisbury Steak
Makes 1 serving.
Ingredients:
1 (approx. 3 oz.) Salisbury Steaks, cooked
3 Tbsp. Beef broth or water, hot
2 tsp. THICKENUP®
2 Tbsp. Brown gravy, hot
Preparation:
1. Place Salisbury steaks and broth into blender or food processor. Puree until smooth.
2. Add THICKENUP® and blend briefly until mixed. Scrape down sides of container to make sure all thickener is blended in.
3. Pour into a small pan or microwave safe dish. Reheat to serving temperature.
4. Top with brown gravy and serve.
5. Refrigerate any leftovers immediately. Hold for up to 24 hours in refrigerator. Discard after 24 hours.

THICKENUP® Pureed Beef Recipe 13 of 13

BBQ Beans
Makes 2 servings.
Ingredients:
1 cup Canned kidney or pinto beans, drained and rinsed
3-4 Tbsp. BBQ sauce
1-2 Tbsp. Water, as needed
Preparation:
1. Puree beans with BBQ sauce and water in a blender or food processor until smooth.
2. Heat to serving temperature in the microwave, or bake in 350°F oven until hot and bubbly, approximately 10 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes.
3. Portion 1/2 cup per serving.
4. Refrigerate any leftovers for up to 24 hours in the refrigerator. Discard after 24 hours.
Recipe Variation:
Refried beans may be used in place of pinto or kidney beans. To prepare, stir 3-4 Tbsp. BBQ sauce into beans and reheat to serving temperature.

Cinnamon French Toast
Makes 2 servings.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup Milk
1/4 tsp. Vanilla Extract
2 Eggs
4 slices Cinnamon Swirl Bread
Maple syrup, optional
Preparation:
1. Heat oven to 350°qF. Spray 8x4 inch bread pan with vegetable cooking spray.
2. Beat together milk, vanilla and eggs.
3. Tear bread into small pieces and place in blender or food processor.
4. Pour egg mixture over bread pieces and process until mixture is smooth.
5. Pour into pan. Cover and bake for 20-25 minutes or until knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
6. Cool for 5 minutes. Cut into squares.
7. Serve warm with maple syrup, if desired.

Graham Cracker Crust
Makes 1 serving.
Ingredients:
1/3 cup Graham cracker crumbs
3 Tbsp. Milk
1 Tbsp. Whipped Topping, optional
Preparation:
1. Combine graham cracker crumbs with milk, cover and refrigerate for 10-15 minutes.
2. Spread softened crumbs onto a small place or into a bowl.
3. Top with your favorite pudding or pie filling that has been pureed to smooth consistency.
4. Garnish with a dollop of whipped topping, if desired.
5. Refrigerate any leftovers for up to 24 hours in the refrigerator. Discard after 24 hours.

Pumpkin Cheesecake
Makes 1 serving.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup Canned pumpkin pie filling
1/2 cup Cheesecake flavored pudding, prepared
1 serving Easy Graham Cracker Crust, prepared
Whipped Topping (optional)
Preparation:
1. In a bowl, mix pumpkin pie filling and prepared pudding until thoroughly combined.
2. Spread prepared graham cracker crust onto a small plate or into an individual dessert dish.
3. Spread filling on top of the crust and garnish with whipped topping, if desired.
4. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
5. Refrigerate leftovers immediately. Hold for up to 24 hours in refrigerator. Discard after 24 hours.

Pureed Bread
Makes 2 servings.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup Fine bread crumbs
1/4 cup Milk, water or broth
Preparation:
1. Combine bread crumbs with liquid, cover and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
2. Stir well and serve.
Serving Suggestions:
Sandwiches—Spread 1/4 the bread mixture onto a small plate. Top with pureed chicken, tuna or ham salad. Spread remaining 1/4 of bread mixture on top of filling.
Garlic bread—Add garlic seasoning to bread crumb mixture, heat and serve with pureed spaghetti and meat sauce.
Dinner roll—shape bread crumb mixture into a ball and serve.

Southwestern Style Casserole
Makes 2 servings.
Ingredients:
1 cup Corn Meal Mush (prepared according to package directions)
1 cup Refried Beans
1/3 cup Sour Cream
3 Tbsp. Taco Sauce
1/2 Cheddar Cheese, shredded
Preparation:
1. Heat oven to 325°F. Spray an 8x4 inch bread pan with vegetable cooking spray.
2. Pour corm meal mush into pan and spread evenly.
3. Spread refried beans on top of corm meal. Top beans with sour cream.
4. Drizzle with taco sauce and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
5. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes or until cheese has melted.
6. Cook for 5 minutes before serving.
7. Refrigerate leftovers immediately. Hold for up to 24 hours in refrigerator. Discard after 24 hours.
