Dear Nestlé Health Science community and valued customers, 

COVID-19 is impacting all of us in ways we never imagined. Everyone has a story. My two teenagers are experiencing social distancing and distance learning, with the prom cancelled, college visits cancelled, and a graduation ceremony uncertain. Like many, I am doing grocery shopping for my parents to keep them out of crowded stores. And like all businesses, we are facing unprecedented situations in the workplace.

 At Nestlé Health Science, we know and appreciate that you put your trust in us to provide you with high quality nutrition products. We take that trust very seriously and know we must earn it every day. The health and safety of our employees, patients, consumers and customers has always been our highest priority and are why we are so passionate about what we do; and the rapid spread of COVID-19 has only heightened our focus and commitment.

 I would like to share with you some actions we are taking to continue to assure the safety, quality, and availability of our products, as you have come to expect.

PRODUCT SAFETY

Your health and safety are our top priority. As a Nestlé company, our manufacturing and distribution operations are conducted with the highest levels of hygiene and cleanliness, to guarantee the quality and food safety standards that make Nestlé a global leader in Nutrition. This will not be compromised.

 The US Food & Drug Administration has stated that it is not aware of any reports at this time of human illnesses that suggest COVID-19 can be transmitted by food or food packaging. We always have been committed to delivering safe and quality products, and we continue to take extensive measures to conduct routine environmental cleaning of our facilities and test our products throughout the manufacturing process. All Nestlé products follow the same strict safety and quality standards and remain safe for consumption

PRODUCT STOCK AND SUPPLY

Because we know our products play an important role in your health, we normally carry several months of product inventory. With the rapid spread of COVID-19, we are working with our supply chain, distribution, medical, and retail partners to assure continued production and delivery of products. We are running our factories at full capacity and are building additional stock on our highest demand products. At the same time, we are closely monitoring the situation so we can be responsive to the changing demands and needs of our customers.

 As we continue to work with our employees and the logistics industry on availability of people throughout this time, you may experience a day or two delay in our fulfilment or the transportation timing of the carriers. Please know that we are closely monitoring the inbound orders and resourcing to make sure that any delays in delivery are minimized.

PRODUCT ACCESS

We are continuing to work with our medical, retail, and e-commerce partners to assure continued availability of our products, at a fair price. You can continue to find our products online at the Nestlé Nutrition Store or at your favorite local Walmart, grocery store, or drugstore, Amazon, or other onlineretailers.

All orders through our Nestlé Nutrition store will be fulfilled in a safe and timely manner, with the best service possible.

EMPLOYEE & COMMUNITY HEALTH

People are at the heart of our business. We believe we have an obligation to protect the health and safety of our employees and the communities in which we live and work. We have amended our normal work policies to minimize the health risk to our employees and reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our communities. We all have a role to play in slowing the spread of the virus and “flattening the curve.”

 We also want to make you aware that we have instructed our Sales teams to suspend any face-to-face customer visits. We are doing so to minimize any unknowing potential introduction of COVID-19 into your healthcare facilities, for our own employees’ health and safety, and because we know that you need to focus on serving your patients’ and consumers’ needs.

COMMUNICATIONS

We do not want you or your patients to worry about supply, or how to get the nutrition they need. Our number one priority is assisting you.
