Rated 1 out of 5 by Todd Bower from Feeding supplements for cancer patient My 67 year old mother was diagnosed with cancer 3 months ago. It was determined that it was inoperable. So the only options were Chemotherapy and Radiation. With the pace the cancer was growing it became a critical issue and the path was chosen to hit it with everything they could to save her life. Things progressed as planned and within a week or so after the treatments started she was having a hard time swallowing food normally due to the radiation that burned her esophagus so badly and she had about 20 more daily treatments scheduled. She lost around 57 pounds and was under 95 lbs and still loosing. We started with the Carnation Instant Breakfasts because they were about 220 calories and got her to drink about 6-7 a day in order for her to maintain the weight she had. We also supplemented the feeding with an NJ tube to get her another 900 calories daily. It worked and she stopped loosing and with all of that she tried to eat as much normal food as possible normally but those calories were nominal. This has went on for the last 2 1/2 weeks and she now want to eliminate the feeding tube. I then found the Resource 2.0 and with 480 calories and the additional nutritional would be a fantastic addition to get her over the hump by just drinking 3 of them a day in addition to the CIB drinks and she should meet the caloric intake needed to remove the tube. But I was skeptical because we have tried every Boost, Ensure and other items out there but she could not gag them down due to the taste and texture. These are thick so they coat her throat and taste just like a vanilla milk shake. She has now added 14 pounds in the last 10 days and is on the mend. Hopefully they can remove the tube next week and she can start to live her life as normally as possible. Nestle product are fantastic and ordering the products on line is easy and they ship them very quickly. I can't thank you enough for helping us through this terrible time and having product like these have been a blessing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sagee79 from Tastes good and great for those on a liquid diet! I was impressed with the taste of these and how many vitamins are in one little container!! They are a bit thick so I add milk to it when I drink them twice a day and cheaper than most products like these!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Claude from Best taste of all In 2013 i use that product after sinus cancer surgery and chimio therapy and radio therapy. I had tried Ensure and Boost and Resource 2.0 was much easier to swallow and tasted much better even if I had to motivate myself to swallow it due to weakness and nosea. I took 7 a day for 4 months and it certainly kept me alive. I truly recommend that product. I was 67 years old at that time
